Copper and associated gold mineralization in the Mundiyawas-Khera area of western India is hosted by Proterozoic felsic volcanic rocks rhyo-dacite composition. Signatures hydrothermal alteration represented sericite, epidote, scapolite carbonates are well observed around ore zone. The with gently to flat sloping REE pattern, variable negative Eu anomaly, intermediate abundances HFSE moderate low Zr/Y anomalies suggested be FII, FIIIa FIV type rhyolite. host rock for copper has a depleted HREE pattern indicates crustal source, which garnet free. Negative anomaly probably because intracrustal partial melting formed rift related environment. high temperature magmatic activities evolved due crust at shallow depths, suggesting an continental crust. δ13C values mineralized carbonate veins range between −10.4‰ −0.9 ‰ (min = −10.6‰, n 27), whereas δ18O show 16.35‰ 25.23‰ 21.49‰, ideally mixed source bearing fluid. Geological, geochemical stable isotope data deposit suggest it VMS/VHMS setup these insights will lead finding new deposits nearby areas, having same stratigraphic horizons similar lithogeochemical assemblages.
